Please help me with this trade offer.

Points only keeper league (salary cap). Drop 8 players at the end of the year.

I am top 3 and have a very good chance of winning (top 5 teams are fairly tight).

Team is in my signature.

I have been offered a deal by a bottom team.

His Bergeron, killorn and wheeler for my Olofsson, Tippett and a 2nd rounder.

I know off the top it sounds like a no brainer but my dilemma is that once my injured players return does this really significantly help my team?

Once I put Duclair in, I drop Kane (i only hanging on to him for a bit here until more news comes out), Schwartz will replace Dadanov and Kucherov will
replace Dvorak or Okposo. So when all these guys come back will this trade really help?

Maybe I am overthinking this. This forum has helped me out huge in the past so please help me win this thing!

well it helps you...but as you said if you need to drop guys after some others come back from injury, you need to figure out if any of those guys you trade for are drops or not...also would you drop guys you trading?

I think Olofsson is a very nice own in points only and you are adding a lot of salary to your team..can you handle it?

I think that Bergeron is the only real helpful piece. He replaced Dvorak. If I lose Olofsson and Tippett are wheeler and killorn say 20 points better by end of year?

I think you should do it. New injuries will always keep happening, so maybe just keep guys in those slots until you can swap them for someone newly hurt, unless they’re coming back and a significant upgrade.

I completely agree with this. Other than Kucherov, the guys you have coming back are depth pieces. Bergeron is a star, and all other parts of the trade are wahh wahh.
