Sorokin on waiver
I was happy do draft Binnington and Saros, and am generally winning my goalie cats.
but Sorokin is now on waivers, and despite NYI being a mess, wondering if a waiver claim (I'm 7 of 12) is worth it?
I'd probably keep 3 goalies for a while to see how Binner/Sorokin play out and trade the misfit later.
(or maybe keep binnington on IR) and just sacrifice the ability to make moves for a while.
Would you grab sorokin form waivers? (or even wait to see if he clears and then grab)?

In our similar league (12teams, G,G,1year) Sorokin cleared waiwers some days ago.
Islanders are in deep trouble (COVID, injuries, general slumping - lowest avg goals per match in league).
Getting Sorokin is gambling they will turn arround. Dont expect many Wins in near future.

Dropping Vladar for now is the sensible move, as he just played, and Sorokin should be that good or better, and way more tradable if things turn around.

Absolutely, the Isles might be a mess right now, but that doesn't really matter with fantasy FA's. What matters is what they will be like in the coming weeks. Everything that could possibly go wrong so far has....it can only get better from here and he's been the one bright spot for this team.
