Another Markstrom trade for me, this time in another league.

Thoughts on below trades for me in a 10 man cats league with G, A, P, +/-, GWG, PPP, Hits, SOG, W, GAA, SV%, SO


Give: Markstrom, Bertuzzi or Necas

Get: Lehner, Crosby

OR:

Give: Markstrom

Get: Q. Hughes, Lehner

add option C just now :

Give Marky

Get Crosby, Gibson

I'd definitely do both, but I actually like the 1st one more in one year. Great buy low on Crosby, and Lehner has been frustrating owners lately so it might work.

Depending on what your team needs more a C or D I’d take the crosby or Hughes deal as lehner should improve as the knights do and buying low on crosby will be a win for you or getting Hughes

The Crosby and Hughes deals are both great value for you in my opinion.

I would trade Bertuzzi. Hes going to miss a lot of games over the next few years, at least. Each entry into the protocol means a 10 day absence at least. That's about 5 games.
I predicted he would miss 20 games this year. Since Covid is never going away, thanks to people like Bertuzzi, it stands to reason that unvaxxed players will be dealing with this on an perennial basis.
So you can pencil in Bert for about 60 games a year going forward. Slash 25 percent off any player's totals and they become immediately less attractive.
Food for thought.

It's a one year league (or at least that's the section it's in).... Your hungry go eat more food for your thought :P

For one years I'd be dealing away Necas.

But as others have mentioned I'd take the deal that helps my weakest position (of Centre or Defense).

I would move him in any format. The main point I was making is this guy is going to be missing about 25 percent of the games. And at random intervals; what if its the playoffs?

Probably doing A with Bert but I like C if you have other goalies that can cover when Gibby drops a bomb or 2.

B is an interesting option too just Q. Hughes will probably lose you the +/- cat more then not

He's already entered into covid protocol. Rarely (if ever?) do players have to re-enter in the same season. I'd say Necas is now more likely to miss games due to covid protocol than Bertuzzi (after Bertuzzi serves his time).

He has what 6 more Canadian games left (not sure exact amount)? I'd be checking if any of those Canadian games are during your playoffs. But Bertuzzi has the better upside imo I'm keeping him.

nah I'm not dealing what might be the best fantasy goalie by year's end at this rate.
