Worth a stash if you have bench space in a keeper league? He’s on waivers right now and I have the ability to drop an 8th D to stash Kane.

I personally think he's worth holding and/or adding. If he ends up getting traded, which I would say is unlikely now that he cleared waivers, he could have even more value. But if he toes the line and plays well enough in his AHL stint, I have a feeling the Sharks will give him another shot.
Hopefully he's learned something from his experiences the last year or so. He's definitely better than almost anything you would likely find on the WW at this point.

I would say no. There are many players and his career resuming (and resuming productively) is such a long shot if not an impossibility.
