    Default Devon Toews sneaky grab?

Toews has been playing like a madman since his return. Byram was out for most of that time, which will surely effect Toews to some degree. So I doubt he keeps up his PPG+ pace, but he really looks good out there and he could be taking a next step with this team. Or the team is just so good around him, he will produce while he's getting big minutes.

But either way, he looks like a really good buy to me. Or if he's on the WW. And he probably has a top 4 D spot locked up for at least a few years for longer term leagues.

But I think he could be gotten at a relatively cheap price for the production he looks capable of this season.

I think the issue you'll run into with anyone not named Makar on Colorado's back end will be sporadic production. Girard, Byram, and Toews are all capable of being effective offensively, but PP time will be limited as long as Makar is healthy. If you're looking for some depth at D and can pick him up for cheap, then yeah, he fits the bill.

That's probably fair. All though only 2 of his 10 points in 9 games have come on the PP. So he's mostly doing it in 5x5. Which I agree, he won't quite maintain that pace. But even if he falls off a bit, he could realistically still be looking at a 40-45 point season, with minimal PP opportunity. Which is great for a Dman. And he should still see some PK time.

The Avs had their highest win % in team history in November due to some high output/easy games. (2) 4 Goal games, (1) 5 goal game, (2) 6 goal games, and (3) 7 goal games! I know they're a high powered offense, but they can't keep that kind of production up. With that being said, I agree, a 40-45 point season is attainable.

50 point pace the rest of the way is reasonable which should end him with 40-45 points at seasons end since he missed the first bit.
