Is Theodore + Marner for Makar too much? It’s possible I might to add a sweetener as well.

Never a question of whether it is too much with superstars. You will have to overpay to motivate the other GM, full stop. Fact.

If you're the Makar GM, you likely wouldn't consider moving him unless it locks up a title win or transforms your team super-obviously for the better, so that's the bar you're likely going to have to hurdle.

Don't think your offer does that.

Like I mentioned in your other thread, this offer MIGHT get his attention. Personally, I'd still want more if I'm the Makar owner. Sometimes it feels like a tough pill to swallow when you're moving a few of your best assets, but watching Makar put up 20 points over his next 15 games will make you forget of ever owning Marner & Theodore.

True. Makar’s injury history is a bit of a red flag that just makes me hesitate a bit by going all in for him and I’m an Avs fan to boot. Lol He did say this offer is better but not quite there yet. Haha

imo this is the worst time to go after Makar, you will have to give up to much. if you really want him, wait until he is hurt or slumping if that ever happens

I'd lean towards not pursuing him further right now.

Marner is a very, very good player for your format. Theodore is a good player for your format. You keep 35, and I suspect once you add in whomever your 36th guy is this turns out to be a lateral move.
