I received an offer for Dahlin vs my R1 (between the 4th and 7th overall). Do you think, 2022 draft players are better to own than Dahlin ?

I would jump all over Dahlin.
Anyone you draft with that pick will still be a gamble compared to what you would have with Dahlin.
I would happily take that deal.

It's early, of course, but the impression I'm getting is that picks 1 and 2 are in their own groups and then picks 3-10 are mix and match. If you're looking at Dahlin v. that 4-7 grabbag, I'd go Dahlin. Perhaps one or two of the guys picked at 4-7 could surpass Dahlin for their career, but based on the information at hand now, Dahlin is superior with the room for being great. Recall, at the age of 21, on a team that is hoping for =Casey Mittelstadt= to come back and be their 1C, he's on pace for a 52 point season. That's no small feat.

Yep I'd be all over Dahlin here too.

Too much upside at a thinner position to not value over a 4-7 draft pick this year.

(Don't get me wrong it's a solid top 10 imo, but no one has Dahlin's upside at his position and even if S.Nemec does, it'll likely be a longer wait to get there so grab the bird in hand)

I'm with the others and taking Dahlin. You get much more NHL certainty, and he has huge upside still.
