Best IR Stash(es)?

I finally cleared out my roster crunch and I'm looking to grab a couple of guys to stash. I'm mainly looking at players who are going to be out for a while, so the main options are Miles Wood and Alex Tuch, with Max Comtois a distant third. Are any of these guys worth a stash (league details are in my sig) and if so, in what order would you pick them up? Technically, I have room for all three, but that would leave me with only one IR/IR+ slot left.

Rask is NA, so not IR+ eligible, unfortunately.

A guy I've been considering doing the same with is Mantha. Not sure if he is available in your league, but if so, he is worth consideration. I'm not as high on Woods as others, of all these guys I'd rank them as follows: Tuch, Comtois/Mantha and Wood. I certainly like the idea of using an IR spot to add some depth to your team all of these guys could have some value. I'm assuming if you need an IR spot for one of your regulars you can simply drop one or two of your stashes, so if you can add depth at no cost, why not.

I grabbed Wood and Tuch. This league charges $1/move and I ended up paying an extra $60 last season, so I'm trying to be a little more fiscally responsible this year, but I'll probably go ahead and grab Comtois as well.

I don't recall ever seeing a league set up like yours. Limited pick ups for sure, but having to shell out a buck for each move is something I haven't seen before. Streaming a spot or two is an expensive proposition in a set up like that (:

It's definitely unusual but I think it's cheap enough to not entirely disincentivize streaming, though how willing you are to stream probably depends on where you are in the standings, since the cost for each add goes into the pot. The one drawback is that if you are willing to spend the money, you can "buy" a win by just making a ton of moves. We had to add a weekly add limit this season after one guy made about 45 moves over the final two weeks of the playoffs last season.

The real cash to make a transaction is common in fantasy football & baseball, although less so with the proliferation on online fantasy sports.

I like Comtois here if it’s a banger league. Mantha hasn’t shown me enough over the years and Comtois hasn’t been in the league long enough to rule him out. Both these players are available in mine so might jump on Max as he should be back sooner and have more chances with ducks to get back on Zegras wing.
