    Default Stone or Zibanajed

    Hey guys.

This goes with a post in the trade talk.

    Team 2 - keep 6 skaters and 1 goalie.

    Get: Stone and McAvoy
    Give: Zibanajed and DeAngelo

I like getting McAvoy over DeAngelo for the multi cat and still good offense.

The Part of the trade that is holding me up is deciding between Stone or Zibanajed.

I have good C depth and I also have good W depth.

Who would people rather have this year and moving forward (Zibs was one of my keepers this year)
    Team 1:

G, A, SOG, PPP, SOG, Hit, Blk, W, SV%, GAA, SO

C - Matthews, Crosby, Point, Seguin
LW - Miller, Tkachuk, Gaudreau, Kaprizov, Schenn
RW - Terry, Necas, Reinhart, Boeser
D - Hedman, Pionk, Hanifin, McNabb
    G - Hellebyuck, Ullmark
    IR - Wilson, Petry

    Team 2:

    G, A, PP, SOG, Hit, Blk, W, GAA, SV%,

    C - Kopitar, Hischier, Rantane
    LW - Panarin, Guentzel, RNH
RW - Marner, Kucherov, R. Smith
D - Makar, Hamilton, Heisknen, Dillon
    G - Vasilevskiy, Hellebyuck, Ullmark
    IR - Wilson, Aho, Theodore

You have a pretty solid set of Dmen right now, so there’s not a huge upgrade in going from DeAngelo to McAovy. And your RW’s look good too. you’d be taking a bigger hit at center and I don’t love how it weakens you there. I do understand the appeal of McAvoy, but I would pass as it does more harm than good to your forward corps.

How many players do you start at each position? That could sway my thinking here.

    Thanks for the advice.
That is definitely a thought of mine. I am wondering if my C is strong enough to absorb the loss of Zib (gambling O'Reilly bounces back).
I'm really looking to solidify my multi cat in the back end without sacrificing too much offense..

    We start 4 D, 2 ea. Of the F, 1 Util

Assuming you have a league starting lineup of 2C, 2LW, 2RW...I don't think you make the trade. You'd start 2 of Marner, Kucherov, and Stone and have to bench one of them. Where as Zib is your C1.

I pass, and not shop for a RW really.

Ya. We do have daily moves. I figured I would put one of those RW in the Util spot if there was ever really a conflict.

I wasn't really shopping for RW but more of a multi cat upgrade on DeAngelo.

This trade was offered to me and I'm debating it. I like both McAvoy and Stone

Didn't realize you had a util.

    I would say it's a 50/50 choice for me.

    Ya.

I was all for it when originally offered. I'm now not so sure.

I may try for a modest pick upgrade to go with it....
