Drysdale/Byfield or Lucas Raymond
I am the Raymond owner and really don’t want to trade him, but I could use the help on defense getting Drysdale and absolutely love Byfields potential. I have Zegras so I wouldn’t mind the stack with Drysdale. Team is in my sig… I am currently 5-1 but didn’t expect to be. I was expecting to contend in a few years but Draisaitl has carried me. Would you guys accept this trade? Raymond is a future superstar and showing that already, but Drysdale and byfield could also be.

Absolutely I take this deal! Byfield has all the upside in the world on his own.. Drysdale looks like a strong option on the backend.. very young and getting good reps while learning at the NHL level already. I love Raymond.. but this seems like a definite accept.

I would agree with it being a strong accept. The other GM is going off Raymonds hot start, which nothing saying it wont continue, but I would definitely take Byfield's upside and stack Dry with Zegras!

I'd probably decline. You're hoping Byfield will one day be what Raymond is now. Drysdale is a nice piece. If you're comfortable with doing Drysdale for Raymond 1-for-1, that's how I'd personally evaluate the offer.

Byfield + Drysdale is absolutely a fantastic haul for Raymond.. take it!

Seems like a pretty easy accept to me. Raymond looks great in his short sample size, but I think Byfield and Drysdale is a nice haul coming back.

I'd take this because Drysdale looks really good himself, and you could use help on D. Whatever downgrade there may be, if any, from Raymond to Byfield is made up by the upgrade of Drysdale from random dude of your choice.

He had second thoughts guys. Ended up sending me Drysdale and a second for Raymond. I tried countering with a first to see if he budge but no response yet.

I think you just hold Raymond tbh - Raymond is looking like a game changer type of winger, think Pasta, Kane, or Panarin imo - his stat line right now as a rookie is just as impressive as any of these guys in their inaugural seasons. I agree with Luffy D in that we can all only hope that Byfield gets close to Raymond in his development at this time, Raymond is showing that he could be a top 20 skater right now and Byfield has barely played an NHL game. That and Byfield at 6'6'' will take a while to mature, the breakout threshold for Byfield is like 400 games at his size.
