I think they’re looking for an aging defenceman on a long term deal.
Is something going to give in Vancouver soon? Coaching change? Minor roster tweaks? Major roster tweaks? Anything? Anybody?

Nothing official. All we know is that no one’s job is safe. They have no plan.
Basically they didnt expect to be this bad and are ALL looking like

The owner just met with GM and HC and nothing changed. I expect things to remain like this the entire season.

3C: Norris, Danault, Barbashev (LW)
3RW: Tippett (LW), Roy, Frederic
3LW: Knies, Ehlers, Foegele
4D: Dobson, Gostisbehere, Orlov, Power
2G: Lyon, Husso
1Util: M. Foligno (LW, RW)
4Bench: Brossoit, Werenski, Marchenko, Rossi

Keepers: Dobson (6th), Tippett (11th), Norris (14th)
if you look through the OEL/Garland thread theres a few hints haha
Odds are ownership are not going to make a change in-season
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
Bad ownership trickles down and poisons the entire organization. This situation in VAN will probably continue until the team is sold again.
Perhaps Linden saw the writing on the wall?

I could see Green being thrown overboard and Brad Shaw taking over behind the bench.
Francesco is one a three brothers in the family business and Papa Aquilini is still around. I don’t think anything changes in management immediately unless the old man puts one of his other kids in charge and they hire a president, who hires new management, who hires new coaches.

If it was me, I'd fire Benning, keep Green, and see what that gets going with an interim GM.
We all know Benning is a bad GM. I've heard people say that Green isn't a bad coach, so offer up the GM as a token sacrifice to see if that lights a fire under the players.

Green is not using this team how he should, but maybe he has orders…. As in, keep giving Chiasson chances on the PP because he was (erroneously) acquired to improve it.
OEL has looked like 4.5M not 7M. Garland has looked like their best forward and one of the only ones who gives a damn out there. Boeser disappears for stretches. Hoglander is underutilized, as is Garland. Petterson is really not playing with confidence or at the right speed (let’s hope that comes). Miller is snake bitten. Horvat is playing D. Pearson is not a top 6 player. The D corps as a whole is not NHL calibre. About 40% of it is.
I’d say that sums it up.
Green has to shorten the bench and stop using plugs in the top 6. I thought the Pettersson Podkolzin Garland arrangement last night looked very dangerous. Lots of O zone time.
