I'm currently1st place in a 12 team keeper league
Weekly head to head, start two goalies and can only roster 3
My top G is Shesterkin, I've been riding Kostkinen as my number 2...getting Ws but hurting me on SV%....I also have Knight
Wondering if I should trade for someone like MAF ? would have to include Kostkinen
But thinking Chi will move MAF and maybe even to Oilers. When they do his value goes way up and other GMs will be in on it
SO do i make a trade now before the market but risking he's not.

I am most likely keeping Shest and Knight so this is a one year move

If you can get MAF for Koskinen I definitely would do it. Smith will be back and I actually see EDM adding a veteran goalie like Fleury down the road to help stabilize the team for cup run.

sorry it wouldn't be straight up ...would be a high pick (possibly 1st) + koskinen

I don’t know why you would do that move. MAF alternates good and bad years and I would avoid him this season. The Oilers don’t have the cap space for him unless it’s a late season move which doesn’t help you. If that’s your alternative then keep Koskinen and the first and ride his.910 save pctg and heavy goal support. He’s good for 30 saves per game and will continue to rack up the wins.

Fleury is not a guy you want to acquire.

His best 2 years were in Vegas, and he's never really been a consistent reliable goalie anywhere else - there was a year, maybe two with the Penguins, but his value came from volume of starts and wins. In 17 years, he's got just 4 years with a GSAA (Goals Saved Over Average) over 10.

Poor move like others have said. You’re banking on maf getting moved to a solid def team. If you can move koskinan I would. Wheels will fall off soon but I wouldn’t give that much for maf
