IR Players coming back...who to drop

I was lucky enough to pick up some quality replacements while players are on the IR. I am now at the point where Arvidsson is back, and by monday (when our next week starts) I have to take him off of IR. This will put me over our total number player cap and salary cap, so I will have to drop someone. When Pacioretty went down, I was able to pick up Couture. I think I need to keep him, due to his goals. In our league we construct our lines weekly, and then by the end of the week, for each goal we have per line (3F and 2D) we can count up to two assists, except that your player cannot assist his own goal (in other words we are trying to simulate a real game). So in this way, Couture is way more valuable in my opinion than Wheeler. Wheeler and Chytil (who also just came back from IR) are my poorest performers as far as forwards go. Dropping Chytil though leaves me still 1.442 over our cap. Here are my questions:

1) Who would you drop right now to shave 3.742 million by monday
2) Who would you drop to account for Pacioretty's return the following week? Wheeler and Chytil would not be enough as I would still need .192 million (in this case I was thinking kahkonen, who isn't doing much for me)

I wish I knew the salaries of these players...I'll try to dig deeper into this tomorrow morning but off the top of my head I couldn't tell you. This is kind of a complex league setup as well, going to require some research.

So do you designate which players are on which lines or is that determined by some sort of mechanism that's not apparent here?

The league in my sig has a similar goal/assist setup, except each goal gets a die rolled on a chart to determine if it's 0,1, or 2 assists needed. The rolling is now done off a table of randomly generated numbers, but still a similar principle. We just have goals that can occur without assists, and the league is goals scored (modified by die rolls and assist counts) for each team versus each other. Higher goalie SV% provides a further benefit to one team.

1) Given that goals are needed for assists, and Wheeler's playing poorly, I'd keep Couture, and drop Wheeler first. That means you have Chytil for another week.
2) If Pacioretty comes back next week, and you have no injuries freeing up space, a Chytil/Kahkonen drop is fine, assuming Kahkonen didn't inherit a starting job due to injury by then. However, you might want to look at your other forwards for a fix, as you might have someone who allows you to keep kahkonen that's roughly equivalent to Chytil.

Yes we set up our lines omn Mondays before puck drop of the first game.
