Contending Team: Top line/PP D or Depth Upfront?!

Hey sports fans!

I am currently leading my season long points & +/- only pool (early in the season and details in sig). With it being a total salary (not AAV) keeper league Morgan Rielly's new contract has him on my expendable/trade list.

Wondering everyone's personal thoughts and opinions on some potential moves that have come to mind. Looking at my roster and league setup would you rather...

A) Give up Rielly for Kylington and Mangiapane or Athanasiou.

B) Give up Rielly and Demko for Kylington, Mangiapane, and Athanasiou.

C) Keep the current roster and hold off making move but continue pushing the availability of Rielly and Krug for trading.

I know its early in the seaosn and Kylingtons hot start might be inflating his value but at $750k it's an inexpensive risk and Athanasiou has only played 2 games but looked really good last night against the Leafs. I am probably too active of a GM and have a hard time sitting on a roster but want to win so looking for an edge I can get.

If you have to make a deal make the first one, I don't view Athanasiou as much of an asset and certainly not equal value for Demko, so I wouldn't be interested in him for either of those deals.

My only question is, are you going to have drop someone to accommodate the additional player coming back in that deal? If so, I'm guessing Addison is the odd man out?

I currently have an open roster spot so would not have to drop anyone. Had Rielly on the trading block but in a league full of Oiler fans no one wants a Leaf or a Flame. I am the only one who rosters any Flames players and for the Leafs Matthews, Bunting, Nylander, and Campbell are owned.

Just trying to make the best of my roster as I have a lot of prospects who are taking up roster spots who aren't playing. Trying to decide if giving up Rielly for Kylington and Mangiapane would make sense. Obviously there are others available in that same cap range but was using them as an example.

Trade B is terrible. Demko alone is likely better than much of what you'd get in return.

Trade A is okay. I'm guessing that Reilly will be an issue next year, not this year, right?

Correct no real issue this season at all just brain storming some ideas. With so many prospects I'm falling behind on games played so trying to come up with possible moves to try to maximize my starts for the season. With Lundkvist not playing every game, Addison and Rossi in the A, and Byfield on IR I have some wasted starter spots. But if/when they get called up will be easy to catch up.
