I agree. I think Green Bay or Seattle is going to end being OBJ's new team. Regarding Cook, yikes! From what I read last night, I thought the allegations were that HE was the domestic abuse victim. I didn't realize the new information had come out.

From rotoworld (or whatever it's called now) last night:

SPN's Adam Schefter reports that Vikings RB Dalvin Cook is the victim of domestic abuse and extortion, and there is pending litigation.

Cook alleges that his ex-girlfriend broke into his home using a stolen garage door opener and sprayed him and a guest with mace. She is also suing him for assault, battery, and false imprisonment, meaning the parties are now suing each other. At this point, there's nothing to do but wait and see what happens with the legal proceedings.
    Either way, what a mess.

I had picked up Mattison off FA in anticipation... It's looking as though Cook will be playing at least this week. But things can change rather quickly (one can hope).

OBJ in LA. So, if he thought he didn't get enough action in Cleveland, what makes him think he'll get some there? Kupp, Woods, Jefferson? I guess they are all ok with OBJ coming. Rams with this deal appear to be "all in" but not sure if this will do more harm than good. We shall see.

Their Super Bowl odds did not change after this move. I think that says a lot about what Beckham brings to the table. Woods was already complaining earlier this year because of the lack of targets. Now you bring in one of the most vocal players in the League. TB over LAR in the playoffs.

Desaun Jackson asked to be released from a Super Bowl contender because he wasn't involved enough, but OBJ thinks that's where he wants to go for touches.

Honestly, OBJ's issue was always chemistry with QBs, if he thinks Stafford is the QB, he's made the right decision. It's also LA he gets to go to. LA. He's been in New Jersey and Cleveland, that's a big difference lol. Also has a house and lives in LA, as well as trains in the offseason in LA.

I think this is right. I could be mistaken, but I really don't remember OBJ generally complaining about targets if his team is winning consistently. The issue in Cleveland, I think, is that he wasn't really being targeted, the team results were up and down, but even worse (from his perspective) he was being missed relatively consistently when he *was* targeted and open. So he was just kind of out there.

I'd expect that to be different in LA. Yes, he's not going to be the target monster everyone has been assuming was his main gripe. But with Stafford: (a) I think OBJ can rip a defense apart if he's the man defenses are forced to treat as a third option (just like Kupp and Woods can); and (b) when he is open and targeted, chances are Stafford will make the throw. Add in that (c) it's LA, and (d) barring a complete disaster, the Rams really are a top bet to be in the NFC Championship game and perhaps the SB, and it kind of makes some sense.

Ya I think the big selling point for the Rams is location.

"Hey OBJ, you can catch 4 balls for 47 yards in Green Bay, or... hear us out. You can catch 3 balls for 38 yards and live here in LA. Enjoy the weather, women, and build your brand, just don't complain about targets because they're not coming your way anytime soon."

If OBSr is complaining about lack of targets and OBJ being open, I'm sure OBJ has discussed it with his QB/Team.

And from LARams stand point, if he wins you 1 game (4catches, 75yrds, 1TD) he's worth any headache and money you spend. It's a cherry on the top if that game is in the playoffs. As long as Stafford doesn't tunnel vision on OBJ, they won't be worse.

I know it was his 1st as a Ram but 2 catches for 18 yards on 3 targets (1 miscommunication led to INT) but oh oh. Senior is going to be maaad. I know I know, need more time.

That INT shows why I stressed chemistry as the largest hurdle for OBJ and a new situation. That was on OBJ, not Stafford even tho it looked like a terrible throw at first.
