I do not know if EP has the drive or determination to get to that level consistently. But this is just from a non Canucks fan perspective.

If they do end up moving Miller, or Boeser, maybe EP gets better. But I am also not sure if he's really cut out to be a center. He's still not very good at FW.

Please help with mine, thanks: https://forums.dobbersports.com/show...01#post2169301
It's funny because when he wasn't being 'over coached' in Green's system... or lack thereof heh, he was ppg for the first two years (with some injuries and struggles as you mentioned) - but just to mention from someone who's watched almost every Canuck game this year, I'd argue Horvat is the opposite of consistent. Miller I agree with though

    Weekly H2H, Points Only, Keeper League - 10 team - Keep 14 (+ 2 rookies, under 25 GP) - dress 12 F, 6 D, 2 G (Wins: 2 pts, OTL: 1 pt, SO: 1 pt) - 30 Roster max w/ 1 IR spot which opens up one roster spot.

FW: Aho, Eichel, Draisatl, Rantanen, Marchand, Matthews, Kyrou, J. Robertson, Bergeron, Duchene, Boldy, Toffoli, Kempe, Krejci, Schmaltz

D: Rielly, Heiskenen, Dobson, Drysdale, Byram, Nurse, Weegar, Matheson, Clarke

That’s fair. I mean, I’ve always seen Horvat as a 2C rather than 1c. But when I say consistent, I guess I mean in his 200ft game, not so much his offense. I’ve rarely seen him, in the games I’ve watched, have a bad game in terms of faceoffs, his all around play on the ice etc., But yea, he’s offensively streaky I think. Which for a 2C should be fine. But if they are using him as their 1c, maybe not so much.

Yeah he was definitely forced into a defensive role the last few years which I think has probably helped round out his game, but it did hurt his offence. Yes offensively streaky would be very accurate to me, haha. But yeah I agree, he's a solid 2c in my eyes.
