Pre-season, he was one of the early odds-on favorites every where I was reading. It just didnt work out too well for him (and the Habs for that matter) so far.

Has there ever been a season where two players from the same team were nominated?

Where are we on this race? Does Zegras' flash get him the win? Raymond is slowing down and Lundell is heating up. But Seider is playing like a top Dman so I find it hard to believe he shouldn't win.

Top 3 for me right now is Lundell, Zegras, Seider in no particular order. It really depends how each team finishes. Lundell has the opportunity to play in meaningful games more than the other 2 and if he performs he'll win. Seider gets the benefit of being a really strong player where I doubt he falls out of the rankings, but he hasn't been a highlight guy in recent memory. Zegras is the highlight reel guy. He could finish off slow in pure production, but he'll be flashy with it and that might grab enough eyes.

I think this is the point for each guy:
Lundell - Most likely to finish with the most points
Zegras - Most likely to have the most headlines
Seider - Most likely to get the most votes from knowledgeable hockey reporters.

    Some outside guys though:
Bunting - 29pts, 13G. He might sneak into the conversation over the next month if he sticks with Matthews. Which he might. Plus he's in Toronto. With media voting, that could help.

Swayman - Rask hasn't looked good, he's the top rookie goalie it seems like right now.

Jeannot - Rookie leader in goals. Might heat up more. I don't think he'll push hard for the top 3, but could steal votes off someone else.

Boldy - 9pts, 9gp. If he finishes PPG, wow how does he not get votes.

If Minnesota keeps it up, Boldy will be a threat. He’s the real deal out there. He looks surprisingly good for a rookie and in fact, doesn’t look like a rookie at all, or barely.

I can't see him being nominated over the guys who have been playing all season though.

Alright Seider has been dominant lately. I will be very upset if he doesn't win the Calder.

What great PK-ing but omg if I'm a philly fan watching that I'm pulling my hair out lol. Philly looked like the team trying to contain a player who's team is on the PP.
