Hischier or Atkinson

I own Atkinson and I could get Nico Hischier

what do you think?

i feel Nico could breakout at some point, he plays like 21 min + per game ans just hit the 200 games.

cam has a better start of season so maybe I could sell high

I'd stick with Atkinson. We've been waiting a while for Nico to pop and he is now in his 5th NHL season and is just not off to a great start. Personally, I'm thinking his upside is less than what we first though when he had promising success early in his career. Still, he is only 22, but the signs are just not encouraging. Further, Hischier has enjoyed excellent deployment with the Devils, yet the numbers are disappointing. As a last point, injuries are a concern here as well. Historically, Atkinson has simply been the better producer and you have to like the start he is having with the Flyers. That's not sustainable but I think a 65 - 70 point season is a reasonable expectation. We'll see, but Hisciers' best year was 52 pts and that was in his rookie year. A step forward for him this year would see him possibly put up 55 pts. This falls short of what you can expect from Atkinson IMO.

You mean different opinions? Not here. I think Bubba summed it up as good as I could. I'm a NJ fan and I wouldn't buy on Hischier. I personally think NJ was unfortunate enough to get the best of two rather meek draft classes. So they're not nearly as far ahead in their rebuild as some people think and it's showing up in the results so far this season.

Nico. Injuries have really affected this kid. If he can get a full season under his belt again here I bet we will see some production.
