Players off to a slow start

Hey guys,

I've been struggling early on this fantasy season although I feel like I drafted well and my adds have been good. The main problem I've had is that my player that I drafted early (that should be my best players) have all gotten off to a slow start. This includes Panarin, Marner, DeBrincat, Ehlers, Theodore, Petry as well as some injuries to Stone and Hughes. I am wondering if I should wait for all these guys to wake up and take my losses until then, or trade / drop some of them.

Those are mostly guys I'd stand pat with. But it depends what is available - in that format Petry isn't untouchable if there's other options. I am guessing the FA market would have lateral moves at best. Stand pat - if things haven't gotten better in another week then maybe you look at some options. But it just looks like a perfect storm of bad starts and bad luck.

One of the recent ramblings put it best, if this was midseason and there was a 4-5 game cold stretch we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Also Debrincat has 4 pts in 7 games, Ehlers has 4 pts in 6. Debrincat probably has an extra point or two if P Kane wasn't out and Ehlers is not that far off of his points per game mark here, one more assist and he's right in line with his projected pace. It's not what you expected when drafting but they're not completely asleep either.
