The Way Too Early Mantha You're Cut Thread

Are any of Bertuzzi,
Couture,
Meier,
Kessel,
Dubois,
Bjorkstrand,
Kyrou,
Pulju,
Zuccarello,
Atkinson,
Stuetzl,
Ek,
Batherson,
Duclair, so much better than Mantha in points only to warrant using one of my five precious drops early? (Points only)
Alternatively, and more prudently, I wait, and see what happens when Backstrom comes back and Mantha plays with either him or Kuz.

He's got 4 points in 6 games, that's a 55 point pace on a very small sample size, which would be close to on par with his career averages.

Not sure you can expect more than that from him.

All the alternatives you posted are probably +/- 5 points different than what Mantha will end up with so I'd stand pat if you're limited with moves.

I certainly can't expect more form him from his current pace. That was my bone-headed mistake in the draft, I moved him up the board too high and thought he might have 25% increase this year...who knows.
The only guy who intrigues me in that list is Dubois.

Dubois would probably be the only one on the list who I'd be confident would outscore Mantha, but again not by much.

Dubois' ~55-60 to Mantha's ~50-55.

Whoops Sorry lol. At this point I'd wait and see if you can afford it. I think Oshie got moved to his line, could help a lot.

Don't burn a move this early to drop a healthy player, let alone one who is producing at a decent pace. Live with your draft-day decision, don't let your emotions push you into makine a second bad decision.

Do you have an IR slot available? Crazy to think Kuch was dropped. That’s a high risk/reward though. Oshie is now week to week, plus backstrom out, caps a little banged up. Could effect Mantha negatively.

He was dropped because we have no bench, no IR. No way I can add Kuch, he'd hurt me too much. I'll have to wait a month. I thought about dropping O'Reilly for Kuch, because he's out with actual covid symptoms so who knows when he'll be back to 100%, but even then it would be a hole in my lineup for 2 months.

He's been banished to PP2 since Oshie went down, not sure why. Sheary has taken his spot on PP1, and is doing well, scored a goal tonight.

Yes. Unfortunately for Mantha he is on the outside looking in at the moment.
