Sell high on Kopitar?
Hey guys,
Wondering your thoughts on me attempting to solve my goalie woes by trying to sell high on Kopitar. I was thinking I could target a better goalie by packaging Kopitar and Grubauer. A few possible targets that I see could be Varlamov or Ullmark. Any other suggestions?

Yup. D are extremely valuable in your setup and you only have 4 with bench rotation. Get a stud 5th that plays every night based off a same night tool and you are set.

Kopitar has been in the NHL for 14 seasons, 12 of which have seen him score at a rate between 0.8 and 1.0 points per game. At this age it would be very unusual to see him do better. That having been said, if you look at someone like Mats Sundin, who also had many seasons where he scored in that range, he posted a point total in the 70s while the same age as Kopitar is now, plus for two more additional seasons. So Kopitar could still do well - just not likely this well.

Kopitar for Ullmark and a #1 D is quite rich. If I was the Ullmark owner I would not do this trade. But you can do Ullmark and one of the D from the Ullmark owner.
