Any theories as to why Shattenkirk is off to a blazing start?
Dobber had him with 19 points this year in Anaheim. His best days are clearly behind him. But, there are athletes out there who change their diet, get more serious about the fitness and so on. I'm wondering if this might of happened with Shatt? Or is this just a hot start that will fade? His best year is only 56 points, great season no doubt, but he's never duplicated that. Although he did get 34 in 2019 on a Tampa team that had Hedman and Sergachev ahead of him in the PP time.
Just wondering if he might be a dark horse this year for maybe 45 points? Dobber gave Drysdale 34 points this year in the Guide. I find that hard to believe as rookie D are usually not that good in their first year. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
