Teams have like 4 or 5 games before Christmas. I know they really can't, but cancelling games till after Christmas might be an avenue that needs to be seriously explored.
But man, there's going to be another spike in middle of January I think, and telling players to go home for the holidays early might be counter active when it comes to January's spike.
Shea Theodore didn't attend practice today and won't play today. This was the same set of news before Barzal's COVID status was revealed. Just a heads up with him.

Ah the Yahoo update was 'out' but now it's GTD.
I'm going to assume it's not COVID right now, but could be waiting for a test result for tonight. NHL is very cryptic with injuries.
