    Hamonic recalled. He is getting vaccinated. He can play in Canada, but can't cross the border until he's fully vaccinated which will be "soon". He won't be apart of the team during their USA road trip mid November, but will be available after that I do believe.

    I didn't know he was not vaccinated. He has always had concern for his family's health, I'm surprised that he wouldn't be vaccinated. If that is true, he is/was in a tough place mentally for sure.

    He opt'd out because his daughter in 2019 was hospitalized with a respiratory virus and on a ventilator I think. So he opt'd out to protect his family. However, Benning said only 1 player was unvaccinated, and all players at camp were vaccinated (Hughes, Pettersson, and Hamonic not at camp). And the way he can't travel to the States for their trip says he was unvaccianted.

    He has his first shot now. Good. Thanks for the details.
    I figured that his daughter going thru that would have made it an easy decision for him, but hey, people think in their own way.

    Arvidsson, who missed Sunday's game is also still in COVID protocol, uncertain for tonight.
