Anyone know anything about Meier's status? He was put on IR but from what I read he was asymptomatic so he just needs to have 3 negative COVID tests before exiting the protocol. Need to decide if I should play him this week.

I'm OK if Sid only plays two games this week, but if he'd miss the entire week, I will leave him out of my active roster.

Since he had symptoms I'm not sure how confident I'd be in him playing this week. I imagine they will get him into a practice first. I'm expecting him back some time next week.

Rescheduling should be done on the teams dime. Or teams get like 1 "postponement" and after that it's forfeiting.

If it happens to the same team more than once, I would assume the team isn't doing everything to limit risk.

The league did an investigation saying they didn't find any wrong doing, but if Ottawa in January gets this again, are we not questioning wtf is going on?

It sucks, but if it keeps happening, or it keeps spreading, why wouldn't ppl start to question Ottawa?

The league said they are postponing games because of "evidence of continued spread". Austin Watson went on COVID list Nov 6. Next 2 Nov8, next 2 Nov9, next 3 Nov11, 1 more Nov14, and the last Nov15.

Vaccinated players (all of the Sens) need to test (I think) every 3 days until the team is put into a "emergency" state when a spread happens then it's daily I believe. Teams are able to ask their players to test daily, and I think the Penguins did that when they went through their COVID issue. The way the spread happened, I would be curious if the Sens did everything they could to catch the spread before it got as bad as it did. Or did the team break the rules behind the scenes.

Like I said, everyone should get 1, but if this happens again to the Sens, I'm seriously wondering if the team is doing everything they can to catch the spread before it gets this bad. They've had 1/3rd of their season hit with COVID (34days, 10 day stretch of COVID catches). I'm seriously looking at their procedures might be to code, but are they doing everything to limit it. But I guess you can't punish that?
