Help!! Nick Chubb just dropped in a league

The title says it all.

As commissioner of the league I am receiving all sorts of messages about this.

How do you deal with a boneheaded move like such?

No response from the owner? Remotely plausible reason for dropping, i.e., roster crunch due to too many byes? I'd want to give at least some chance for the dropping owner to make an explanation. But even then, it seems indefensible. The route that preserves league integrity is to undo the transaction. Crappy situation all around.

I'd ask the owner for an explanation and then go from there. The guy may have a valid reason, or not, and he's just a bonehead.

If it's a 1yr, it makes more sense. But with Chubb possibly coming back next week....I'd just ask the GM what's up.

I'm in a 16 team 4 keeper league, I have CEH, Barkley, Michel, and Hubbard as my RBs and I need to use D'Ernest too lol. I'm hoping for a tuddy by him. Just hoping.

Guys like Chubb should be announced at the beginning of the season as undroppable. Some sites have that but I'm in leagues that have a separate no drop list just for things like this.

To answer the question, yes I would make him undo the transaction. Chubb isn't gone for the season so it's a bad move for the league.

The next issue at hand once you force him to keep him will be vetoing a trade. The league knows he doesn't want him, so trade requests will be flooding his inbox. Everyone gets mad about moves like this until it benefits them, then they try and justify it. Be prepared for the upset owners who "would have payed more" in a trade, but didn't get him, and now want that vetoed.

Whats your waiver wire system? If it is priority then there is reason to undo the move. If it is auction $ then no reason to undo the move in my opinion. Whatever team values him most will get him.
