Here we are. My CMC team is 3rd in points yet sits 2-4. Need a win this week and thankfully it should come.

My opponent has (get ready to cry) Saquon, Hunt, Beckham... Then on bye Keenan, Zeke, Thielen and Marvin. I'll quit if I lose.

If Williams is out with Covid again would you start Herbert vs TB over any of...

Swift vs LAR

Well it's between Swift and Herbert for me. TB and LAR are 2 big defenses against the run. Both Chicago and Detroit stand to get blown out of the water. So any yardage could be garbage yards. Swift could be sharing more than Hebert. Flipping a coin I would go with the unknown to TB in Hebert. He might surprise TB.

AJ Brown (gotta start since could be a wild west shootout)
Devonta (better than your other options)
Hebert (Bears are tougher than Lions)

I sit Herbert this week. Purely a matchup based call. TB is too nasty of a run defense and it's hard to see Chicago being able to hang with Tampa offensively such that they have the luxury of staying dedicated to the run this week. Swift's value grows in games that could get out of hand given his pass catching chops and lack of viable pass catching threats outside of Hockenson. I don't think the same holds true for Herbert.

I would not start Herbert over any of those other options.

I simply do not like playing running backs against Tampa.
They are out to score as many TDs as possible
So game script could be a bad one for Herbert.


I think The Lions/Rams game will be close.
I think Goff will manage a great game in a revenge game.
Enough to keep it close and keep Swift involved in game longer than Chicago will.

I concur on not starting Herbert, the TB defense destroys RB value.

Williams is apparently activated so Herbert isn’t the starter. Splittsville for those 2 so definitely Swift here. Good luck.
