So I'm in a rebuild and likely not contending this year or next. I've got cossa and hoping on raanta vernier to be something.
I've been offered:
Blackwood for Morrissey and holtz but I love holtz in our format.
Or
Seguin for sway man and a guy like yamomoto or Schultz.
Which way to go? Do either make sense?

I like Swayman, so I'd be tempted to consider that if you're in a rebuild. Although if you can string it out in time for Seguin to get off his cold streak, that might boost your negotiating power. I'm not as thrilled with Blackwood.

Cossa aint going to be of use for at least 4-5 years. Swayman will be. I wouldn't bother adding another player to Seguin for Swayman unless your drop is worse than Schultz or Yamamoto. Seguin is already suspect due to age and injury - in your defined window of contention 3 years from now Swayman will be far more valuable than Seguin. I would not do the Holtz trade.

It would be nice if you could get more than Swayman back. Seguin is off to a sluggish start but he’s still a very good player. I like Swayman but just thought you could squeeze a bit more from the bottle. Keep Holtz. Good luck.

I hear ya my thoughts as well but with sways strong start and seguins slow one I feel like it's gonna be a hard sell one for one with this owner right now...

Swayman has 1 win, a .885 Sv% and a GAA of 3.02. I would not call that a strong start.

He did have a strong preseason- this loss may be the catalyst I need to acquire him.

On the plus side swayman- is farm eligible so I can make a waiver add in barbanov or lundestrom. I'll admit this negotiation has not gone well on my part
