Cap hell can be an issue. Petr Mrazek has a groin injury and the Leafs are pushed right up against the cap, so Alex Bishop was signed to an amateur tryout from the University of Toronto. Good luck kid!

I looked up the kid who played Goldberg to see if he still acted and it could be an epilogue to the Mighty Ducks...and yikes pretty damn sad state of affairs with him

How does the NHLPA allow this to happen? The Toronto Maple Leafs are choosing to forego paying a player to fill a roster spot and are instead dressing an amateur who will receive zero salary.

All you need is for him to get actual NHL time, and you can say you scored on a NHL goalie in summer league.
