Tell me I am wrong, I slayed this 1 year draft right?

10 team 1 Year League H2H ESPN. G,A,PTS, PPP +/-, PIMS, HITS. W, GAA, SV% and SO. Positions start 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D and 2G.

I got the 2nd overall pick, here are my selections by overall pick number:

2: Nathan Mackinnon. This was super tough. In hindsight because of limited RW, I should of took Kucherov.

19: Patrick Kane.

22: Alex DeBrincat. Felt like I reached here.

39: Sidney Crosby. Even injured 39th overall seems like a steal to me. I feel like he should of went low to mid 20's.

42: Matthew Tkachuk.

59: Dougie Hamilton. I don't value him as top 5 D in New Jersey but as my 1st D off the board I was happy with this pick.

62: Andrei Svechnikov.

79: Steven Stamkos. I still think he will be PPG over a full season. This seems like good value.

82: Jacob Markstrom. Didn't love this pick. Demko went right before him but I like having a volume starter.

99: Brent Burns.

102: Morgan Rielly.

119: William Nylander. Only had one RW up to this point. Needed to go for this position.

122: Teuvo Teravainen.

139: John Klingberg.

142: Zach Werenski. Last of my 5 D. I think it's a solid core. Not one seems to be a dud.

159: Filip Forsberg.

162: Carter Hart. my Goalies are underwhelming but I will stream if I have too.

179: Jack Hughes.

182: Sam Bennett. Some people think he is going to have a monster year. If that turns out this will be a steal. I am unconvinced at the moment.

199: Jesse Puljujarvi. I think he might be better than Bennett. Looking strong in pre season.

202: Alexander Radulov. Last pick to round out my RWs.

Not much to complain about, personally I would have taken Draisaitl at #2 (he will be wing eligible in a week on ESPN is my money)

An ESPN tech told us that they are no longer supporting dual eligibility on ESPN. I hope he's wrong...but that is what we were told and are starting to look for another place to host our league.

We've been reluctantly using ESPN for almost a decade now. But had no idea they were doing this. We prob would have changed to Yahoo if we knew before the draft this season. Anyway...I still hope the tech is wrong, I don't think they know what they are talking about when it comes to fantasy hockey.

Thanks Lawman means a lot coming from you. Yah I was really happy with the results. I always fade goalies as a general strategy as they are so unpredictable, and with leagues with lots of weekly pick ups I can usually find quality starts. Nothing is a guarantee but I feel very well about this one.

Holy hell I need this tech to be wrong. My entire draft was built around dual eligibility. I've been lobbying for a platform switch for years.

Excellent team/draft.

In a 10-team league, you should be top 3 for sure. (I say top 3 because if you're snagging Svech/Stammer in those slots there are likely more than a few GMs who aren't competitive annually - which usually means there are 2-3 GMs playing below their fantasy acumen and they will be your main competition based on their drafts)

In your setup (9F/4D/2G with 10 teams) fading goalies... and even D to an extent... is definitely the strategy I would employ for year-over-year competitive edge.

On paper it looks great. I think I agree that I probably would have leaned Draisaitl or Kucherov at pick #2, but who knows. In a 12 team league you should be happy.
