I find it hard to believe that Jarvis jumps over Svechnikov permanently without any NHL games played.
I know it’s absolute madness. I date Rod’s daughter, Briley.

I know Jarvis has been great in the pre-season, so perhaps Brind'Amour is leaning towards giving him more ice time than Svechnikov right now (I will take your word on that, considering your "source" sounds pretty darn reliable), but saying this is a "permanent" situation doesn't make sense to me. Nothing is permanent. Jarvis could completely crap the bed once the season starts, and Svechnikov could explode offensively. Based on how hard it is for rookies to transition to the NHL, and the fact that Svechnikov just signed a massive contract and paced for back-to-back 60+ pt seasons (and he's still only 21) leads me to think the odds are more in Svechnikov's favor that Jarvis', despite whatever Brind'Amour thinks about the two players right now.

That said, I appreciate the insight. It is very good news that the coach thinks so highly of Jarvis.

if the first game is any indication, Jarvis isn't playing and Svechnikov is playing with Taravainen and Trocheck.

maybe the relationship with Rod’s daughter isn’t exclusive? Or on rocky ground?

I took Barkov over him. Both good... but Svechnikov looked OK

I know it's only one game, but that line (as I suspected) looked awesome. Most know how good Svechnikov and Teravainen are, but Trocheck is a heck of a player as well. If they keep that line together all year, I think it will flourish. Aho and Necas are formidable, but (as someone else already mentioned), they will have to do a lot of the heavy-lifting which leaves the Trocheck line to eat up the other team's weaker opposition.

Totally, that line will put up 210 points if together all year. Huge for Trocheck fantasy value.

    Def.

I could see something like 75 (Svech), 75 (TT), and 65 (Trocheck)

its generally beneficial to keep your productive centres so i can only really see trocheck leaving if his $ ask is too high. dundon wont go above a certain $ so we'll see what happens.

carolina has so many weapons so they have alot of options with how they deploy their forwards. PP1 is clearly aho svech troch teuvo and deangelo so to me those are the 5 guys you want on your fantasy team. next up is probably necas.

im just glad svech isnt playing with jstaal and fast like he did for much of last season lol
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
