First 6 rounds. I couldn't believe some of the guys who kept dropping to me tbh... I debated Thachuk with both my #2 & #3 picks. When he was still there @ 45 I may have made a mess in my pants. I think a lot of guys were going off of Yahoo's ranking so I intentionally started letting those player slip a couple rounds in hope's they'd still be there.

I gotta say, you nailed the draft and the only thing I would have personally done was not take Vas, but that's a personal opinion. The fact Lehner and Kuemper went over Helly and Shesterkin in a keeper league...that's a weird one. Cole Caufield and Jason Robertson I think went pretty high, but you man just kept taking what people gave you.

I agree, I may have reached for Vas @ 4, but once I had him I didn't have to worry about a run on goalies or try and time when to take one. I very well may have been better off with a combo of Kuch/Matthews with Helle, over Vas/Huberdeau but I figured Helle would be gone by then and was after one of those two options in net.. like 2014OG said, who would have thought Lehner/Kuemper would go over him & Shest.

Just revisiting this thread.

Finished the regular season in 2nd place, as well as 2nd most total points.

Set my team up well with guys who had heavier schedules over the last 3 weeks of the season for our fantasy playoffs and ended up winning the championship.

Dang, sucks you couldn't close it out, but you're set up so well for the future.
Vas, Hube, Svech, Tkachuk, and one of Lindholm, Pettersson, and Hamilton is such a good start for each yr. Like you don't have to make a tough decision on keepers either for a couple of yrs at the very least.
