I was able to move out Turcotte , 1st (not going to be a top 10) and a 2nd for .... Alexis Lafreniere

I have lost faith in Turcottes upside as he is officially a band aid boy in my books

This is a clear thumbs up no?

Now the next question is in my Leauge format would you move Lafreniere straight up for Suzuki?... Or Laff has the better upside

Big win for you in acquiring Lafreniere for Turcotte!
I might pass on the offer for Suzuki. I think Laffy has higher upside and is probably poised for a good step forward this season.

I like the first deal, very well done. As for the next question, the hockey gods will frown on you (or worse) if you blow it and take the gift they just gave you and move Laf for Suziki. Absolutely not. Suziki may put up more points this year than Laf, although that is not written in stone, the difference could be 10 pts or less. Beyond that, not even close IMO. We are talking about a guy with 82 pt upside versus a guy with 120 pt upside, a first overall versus a 13th over all, we are talking about a multi cat beast versus a one dimensional player. Ya, not even close.

Definitely hang on to Laffy over Suzuki though. Suzuki is a fine player but I personally think he's better suited to be the 2C on a higher powered offense. I don't like the way Montreal spreads out their minutes I think it really limits individual upside.

Pretty good trade for you, not knowing how much the 1st and 2nd are worth, but Laf is a big upgrade over Turcotte.

I would also keep Laf over Suzuki as I think he will surpass Suzuki's production within 2-3 years.

Your team is really good except at C.
I like Bennett a lot as a 3C.
The problem is the other 2.
You have no Cs on your bench either.
Good thing you have no FOW.
Find a way to get Suzuki without giving up ALF.
I think if you can get some upgrades at C your team will be excellent and very competitive.
