Help! How should I use my waiver claim?!!

I have the #2 waiver claim right now and IÂ’m considering using it on Dylan Larkin or Evgeni Malkin, who was dropped after learning that heÂ’ll be out at least 2 monthsÂ… We have an IR slot so I donÂ’t know why he was dropped.

Would you use it on Malkin to put him in my IR slot, grab Larkin, or hold onto to the waiver position and see if they clear waivers?

I would use it on Malkin, yes... and then stash him on your IR.
That's probably a really keen use of a waiver claim.
IDK why somebody wouldn't stash Malkin on their own IR... but that's an effective way to use your waiver.
