Panarin for Scheifele + DeBrincat?

Hi everyone--

Curious to hear your kneejerk thoughts. In the first pool in my sig, I've been offered

Scheifele + DeBrincat (+ Teravainen if I want him, but I probably don't)

for

Panarin

It's a keep 5, and any player traded before the season must be kept for that season, so each player I take on comes at the expense of someone else I might otherwise have kept.

By default, my keepers would be Panarin, Miller, Hamilton, Shesterkin, and then one of Ehlers/Lindholm/Nuge/Rust/BSchenn/etc, depending on which of those bubble guys I can package in another deal.

If I were to accept the trade, my keepers would be Scheifele, DeBrincat, Miller, Hamilton, Shesterkin, and I would have to drop or trade all of the Ehlers/Lindholm/Nuge/Rust/BSchenn/etc guys.

So, in effect, the deal is Panarin + [an Ehlers-level player] for Scheifele + DeBrincat--a superstar + a 1B for two 1A's. FHG puts it as basically even. Generally I don't like to be the one giving up the best player in a deal, but this one has at least piqued my interest.

Thoughts?

I'd keep Panarin and Ehlers myself

I'd pass on that deal if it's before keepers.

Pass for me as well. In a keep 5 quantity for quality seldom wins. At best your going sideways IMO, I see no advantage in doing this.
