Wait, so why are unvaccinated NBA players allowed in Toronto , but not NHLers?
Why don't NHLers get the same national interest exemption.

The NHL didn't apply for that exemption.

    Giroux-Couturier-Konecny
    Lindblom-Brassard-Atkinson

    Group B:
    JvR-Frost-Farabee (line 2, by looks)
    Thompson-Laughton-NAK (line 4, by looks)
    Bunnaman-Rubtsov-Sandin
    Wilson-Cates-Willman

    From this article, on Frost:
    https://flyersnittygritty.com/recapp...ly-good-today/
The moment we have all been waiting for Morgan Frost. Frost was exquisite today. He made crisp passes to JvR and Farabee was a beneficiary of those crisp passes, as well. This line has a chance to wreak havoc on opponents night after night. Frost usually shines in camps, and today was no different. He was fast and assertive with his decision making, and it appeared he did not shy away from contact along the boards either.

Could be a great sleep in late rounds of one-year leagues!

    Extension:
Per Charlie O'Connor twitter today (I love CoC):

Lines and combos for Group B basically the same as yesterday:

    JvR-Frost-Farabee
    Laughton-Thompson-NAK
    Bunnaman-Rubtsov-Sandin
    Wilson-Cates-Willman

    Sanheim-Ristolainen
    York-Clendening
    Millman-Wylie
    Schmiemann-Samson

In explaining why Frost and Brassard were getting first cracks at the 2C and 3C roles in camp, Vigneault said that he wants to use Frost in his ideal role, that of a top-6 forward, and see if he can handle it. As for Brassard, he said "he's played his best hockey" there.

Two weeks later, Frost is out at C2 for PHI.
Here is how they lined up today, per Charlie O'Connor:

    Lines/pairs:

    Giroux-Couturier-Konecny
    Farabee-Brassard-Atkinson
    Lindblom-Laughton-JvR
    Wilson/Cates-Thompson-NAK

    Provorov-Ellis
    Sanheim-Ristolainen
    Yandle-Braun
    Seeler-York

Looks like Derrick Brassard is getting the promotion to C2. Wow! (EskimoBro's WHL team draft will be happy about that)
*Garrett Wilson, who is on a PTO w/PHI, might be signed to make this team. Probably at a league minimum as the Flyers do have some cap issues.

    More from the CoC Tweets:

PP1 today at practice: Giroux (left), Konecny (slot), Couturier (right), JvR (netfront), Yandle (point)
Feels like a decent bet that this is what it's gonna be for Game 1.

PP2 personnel is Farabee, Atkinson, Brassard, Provorov and Ellis. Their spots are more fluid, though, so I'm not even going to bother tweeting that out. Provorov and Ellis switched a lot, as did Brassard and Atkinson. Lots of motion.

Maybe we are going to see 2013-2016 Brassaard scoring at a 60 point pace? Maybe Vigneault knows what buttons to push to get Brassard performing like he did back in their NYR days.

imo Gustafsson has spiced up the isles pp and likely gets a deal out of his PTO .

he made a really nice slap pass to bailey last game who roofed the cross ice feed . No offense to Dobson or previous pp staple n. leddy but they dont have that in their tool kit

This is great to hear, I've seen his name pop up a couple times in the box scores, but haven't been able to catch any games / highlights.

I love his swagger / confidence in himself during some camp interviews .

I actually prefer the Klingberg unit - you've got all the pieces there, the shooters, distributors, muckraker (Radulov), best in the NHL at deflections (Pavs). They should produce.
