Nice deal for a guy who only has 55 games played in the NHL. I don't think many believe he'll take a step back or anything but still, if I was a Wild fan, some part of me would be a little nervous.
Mostly excited though, he's the best player they've had in a long time. With the cap hell the team is about to encounter, it's nice to know they'll have a star to rely on.
As of right now, they only have 16M$ left with 12 players signed for next year. Guys like Rossi and Boldy will get a shot for sure!

That's nuts that he got that deal after 55games in the NHL. But I don't think anyone is shocked that he got that amount. Just wow that he's with those guys. He had Minny by the balls on this negotiation.

But just signing depth (3D, 5F) as well with the dead cap hit increasing from 2.3m to 6.3mill just eats away at money to bottom fill the team.
