    They were going to pick one or the other and most likely deal the other one. Korpisalo rumors were floating around the draft anyway so I am not surprised they went this way.

    The big question is will the offseason tragedy inspire him to great heights, or haunt him so as to negatively affect his play. He seems to think the former, although I'm not sure. And now with a fat contract in his back pocket, he doesn't have to worry about playing for his job. I'd still tread lightly.
