Fox for Debrincat

What's do you think? I've been offered debrincat for fox straight up. I will not be keeping a defenseman if I trade away fox. Is having a top 5 dman worth the extra points I will get from debrincat?

Keep Fox. Top end Offensive D are going to go off the board quickly, especially in a league where you only start 3 D. It’s a pity Eichel is hurt but Marner Panarin Sheif and Ehlers should be able to hold down your F offense. And in a keep 8 your first round should provide some opportunity to draft a solid forward.

im not convinced Fox will be top 5 D moving forward, i think we already seen his carrier year...having said that i would still keep him in this situation.

The hype is a bit much on Fox but he’s playing with talent and as a defenseman he’ll get a ton of points and would be one of the first Dmen off the board in a draft of any kind. I like the Cat a lot but I think you are pretty good up front.

I'd also keep Fox.
You essentially start 3D and 10 F, if counting all UTIL players as F, who generally score more. Fox is a D who can score like a rosterable F in your format.

Fox > Debrincat in this format.
This is a beauty format for Fox, because its so scoring-centric. (No PIM, HIT, BLK).
Fox really excels here.
For forwards, you have FOW in play... which DeBrincat doesn't do.
So I'd prefer holding Fox - and keeping your forward positions open to consider FOW with your picks.

I agree on keeping Fox - though I will point out that he actually may be a relatively high-end blocker for a scoring dman.
