U: Panthers: 102½ - This just seems too high for me. Beyond Ekblad/Weegar - this defense is still suspect, IMO and the East has too many good rising teams.
U: Wild: 97½ - the 8th highest score is MIN?!? I think the lockerroom will feel a bit off with two vets ousted in favour of a 24yr old Russian possibly being the highest paid player. Just don't love the Fs to score enough.
O: Islanders: 97½ - this is my LOCK1. This team is just the strongest top-to-bottom forward unit in the league with two bonafide excellent goalies and very solid and underrated D. How is FLA better than NYI? I don't see it. I could see NYI win the East with 110pts.
O: Stars: 96½ - The West sort of sucks, so there's a lot of wins against the crap teams. If Dallas stays healthy, all the 3rd/4th line pieces + Suter + Seguin returning should put them in good spot.
O: Jets: 92½ - Ditto the Stars. I love the D additions here. I think PL Dubois rounds into his comfort form this year, solidifying the 2nd line production. Possibly Perfetti may add O.
U: Canadiens: 91½ - It's the Danault loss and the strong East that will prove overwhelming. Last year's over-performing playoffs will have created expectations that eat this team alive.
O: Kings: 86½ - It's the Danault and Edler adds and the weak West that make this a team likely to trend way up quickly.
U: Red Wings: 76½ - I don't see a world where the Red Wings line-up is better than the Senators! This is my LOCK2
O: Senators: 74½ - See above.
U: Sabres: 63½* Just going to asterik this. I think they are possibly heading for a 40pt year. This line-up is just so, so, so bad. Who can they beat in the East?! Maybe Detroit... maybe... My LOCK3

I think we'll see Buffalo fall to a 55.5 line within a week or two...
This team is worse than Colorado's 2016-17 team that only got 48pts.
If I was a bettor, I'm betting this line hard and now, along with DET & NYI.

I'm surprised that betting agencies even have a line on Buffalo right now.
We can all speculate on what will happen with Eichel... but Eichel vs. Futures is a big difference for team performance in 21-22.
A keen BUF-GM should be trying to move Eichel for futures (picks, young players) to put the team in great tanking position for this year and next.

As "WAR" goes, I'd expect that Eichel is worth 5-6pts himself.
Likely bodog is putting a line on the Sabres WITH Eichel... I think 63.5 is high WITH Eichel... so bodog at 69.5pts seems SUPER HIGH if he happens to be traded for future assets.
