    Default Keller/Drouin for Hertl/Coyle

    League is in signature.

I'm ready to move on from Drouin and I don't foresee Keller improving much over the next 2 seasons. I also don't need to own 3 players from Arizona right now and Keller is the easiest to move due to his perceived potential still.

I think Keller for Hertl is pretty even and I probably come out on top if either A) The Sharks don't end up being as terrible as they look, or B) Hertl get traded into a good spot

The question is; Is Charlie Coyle worth acquiring? I mean, if he were going to have a career year, this should be it right? I don't know Boston's depth or farm system that well though, Is there a chance he loses that 2nd line C spot to someone? What is a reasonable point projection for him this year?

Thanks in advance, will dish out some REP where possible.

always hard to asses things like SHG and GWG ..even PPG are not easy as year to year that changes...so to me this is points only format and rest is gravy...

i think Hertl can hit close to 75 if healthy

i have Keller at 50 this year and Drouin at 40 or so....

Based on those numbers i think its worth to take this deal even if you drop Coyle. Colyle could be #2 C this year btw.

Yeah, I'm just wondering if he can keep that spot. I wouldn't be dropping Coyle, I have some replacement level reserves I'd be dropping instead.

Competition for 2C is Studnicka or Haula. Probably safe?

I like Hertl and think this is a good deal regardless of how Coyle is deployed.

This is what I was thinking. I'd make that deal were I you. I don't see Foligno or Frederic taking the 2C spot either. Even if Coyle struggles early he'll likely have a long leash.

Agree with others. Just Hertl himself is worth the move

what im hearing is Coyle will get first chance at 2C. If he sticks all season there i can see 50 pts. As was mentioned Haula or Studnicka may get a shot if Coyle does not click with Hall. Either way I dont see Coyle there long term. Studnicka I think is the fit they see there if not this year then next season. FYI, hearing recently that Coyle is not a full go for camp so someone may slide in there and steal it! Also dont rule out a trade for a C this season as I am hearing some rumblings with Debrusk still a possibility to get shipped out.

Get Hertl! Even if he stays in SJ, he’s going to put up good fantasy numbers. But if he gets moved at the deadline, he’ll become much more valuable. I think he is already a very talented player so I imagine with better teammates, he can reach another level? Either way, I want Hertl in this trade.

    I'd do that deal.

I agree that if Coyle's going to have a career year, this should be it. I moved on from Coyle a few years ago in cap league where I inherited him, as he was an ok player, but too costly.
