I can't see why you would make that deal. I'm guessing it's for the league in your signature, I just can't see what Eichel does for you right now. That looks like a team positioned to compete every year, I don't think you can afford to wait and see what happens with Eichel. If it was some combinations of players that weren't going to be keepers for you than it would make sense, but Marner seems like a lock.

How much better is Eichel than Marner? How much healthier is Marner than Eichel? Marner will be playing for the Leafs, I wonder who Eichel will play for whenever he is healthy enough to play and a deal actually gets done. Hard pass on this for me.

I would pass on that at the moment. It's a deal you could think about if they were both healthy. But Eichel isn't, we don't know when he'll be back or what team he'll be on. I don't doubt that Eichel has similar upside to Marner, but it would be hard to convince me to take Eichel for him right now. A few months from now it could be revisited, but not now. Also in a 2C setup I am not keen on swapping a RW for a C unless the C is demonstrably better.

but yeah i own both and i wish i could trade Eichel for anything worth while..but marner is way more valuable atm for reasons stated above

This is a hard pass for me. Marner > Eichel in any league with forwards broken out or any where they are lumped together and there aren't FOW.
