I’m sure I’ll be contradicted by smarted hockey experts, who “know…”

    Bobrovsky
    Campbell
    Jarry
    Binnington
    Markstrom
    Price
    M. Smith
    Talbot

start at the bottom: Talbot overperformed last year, will lose his starting spot by 1/1
Mike Smith, seriously, he may be why Edmonton finds themselves clawing for a WC spot in March/April
Price brings his best when it matters, but Shea Weber being out?
Markstrom, I’d love to rank higher, but Calgary’s D is weak
    Ditto Binnington
Ditto Jarry, but I see Penguins as taking one more hard shot at winning, so…
Campbell will get first shot at Toronto’s net, and if he’s 90% of last year’s Jack Campbell, he’ll keep it
Yeah, #1. A two-time Vezina winner with a $10M commitment from his team. Spencer Knight is 2 years away.
CONDORS, 2022-23 league champions, Reg Dunlop Mem Cup

12-team, H2H. Keep 12, but drop 2 of top four skaters, and also 2 of next six, then five more (from end-of-year rankings). One GK max.

    Stutzle, Sergachev
    Keller, Doughty, Verhaeghe, ErikssonEk
    E.Lindholm, Barzal, J.Gaudreau, Huberdeau, S. Wright

I too am surprisingly (for me) bullish on Bob. The sentiment surrounding him is that he’s lost it - coming off a .906 season, but I think he is dialing up getting accustomed to the team trending toward a Championship run. I see Bob taking care of bizz to the tune of .912-.915 this year and that will be plenty to keep the #1 given the 10M.

The line between some of these guys is pretty thin. My best guess:

    Binnington
    Bobrovsky
    Talbot
    Markstrom
    Mike Smith
    Price
    Campbell
    Jarry
10 Team, Points Only, Cash League

25 Man Roster (no position), top 20 point getters count at end of month
Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
    Goalie points W=2pt L=-1pt SHO=2pt

Stamkos, Tavares, Eichel, Mercer, JRobertson, RThomas, Kucherov, Nugent-Hopkins, Tuch, KConnor, Necas, Point, Konecny, SJarvis, Cozenz, Morrissey, Bouchard, Josi, Novak, Tolvanen, Peterka, Brink

    G- Vasilevskiy, Sorokin, Oettinger

Yes, goalies are voodoo. The vast difference in ranking is evidence of that. I know some guys that are top tier will crap the bed and some backups that you never heard of will be fantasy gold by the end of the season. Never fails.

The difference isn't as significant as it looks. Most of the posters have the same group at the top and the same group at the bottom but in a slightly different order. That's still good information.

I am glad you can piece this voodoo puzzle together Random-D cause about the only ranking I see that is somewhat consistent is M. Smith near the bottom of this list.... hehe.

Oh and Talbot 3rd, except for when he is last...

    Goalies. Pure witchcraft.

Everyone is very down on Mike Smith
    .921 save% is decent

Edmonton D arguably better this year with Ceci and Keith (Bear was terrible defensively).
Forwards are also better defensively with Foegele and Hyman

Edmonton also has maybe the easiest division in hockey. Vegas is the only real-deal

For fantasy points I think you are looking at

    Campbell
    Smith
    Price
    Markstrom
    Binnington
    Bobrovsky
    Jarry
    Talbot

I don't mind Mike Smith at all, especially in a cap league. I just wouldn't want him as my primary goalie, at 39 he's not likely to handle a workhorse share of the starts but I do agree he should post decent numbers when he does start. For that reason I ranked him near the bottom, because I don't think he should be a guy you're looking at first.

Also, the more that I've thought about this the more I think I would bump Binnington down a spot or 2. St louis lost slightly more quality than they brought in and he does have a history of being worse in the 2nd half of the season.
