With 5 more years at 10M, I’ll go with Bob! I see something around 50/30 in favor of Bobrovsky
Knight
Bobrovsky
What do we think about this goalie combo going into this season? Will Bob finally show up or will Knight take over the starters job by season end?

Bob, but I think Knight will put up better numbers. I see Knight playing 35-40 games.

Money talks. But I also think he bounces back. Bounce back Bob.

I agree with others on here that Bob will get the chance to run with it. But if knight outplays him, especially by a fair margin, I think fla will give Spencer the keys. They are poised to make a run, and I think knight gives them the better chance. I voted knight. I think it will be close to 50-50 but not that close in the 2nd half.
Florida has a great team and is starved to WIN.
If Bob falters, Knight will be a serious look for full time duty.
I also expect Florida to trade Bob at some point to a team in off season that can eat his cap.
So in other words, Bob's contract will give him the opportunity to start more, but Florida is not gonna mess around and give him a forever long leash.

Unless I’m missing something, Knight won’t even start in the NHL. Therefore my answer is Bobrovsky will get more starts than Knight by about 40 games.

Knight will be the backup over Montembeault unless Knight gets hurt in the pre-season.
60/40 split for the first 30 games (18 vs 12) and whoever is better starts to get more games after that point. 30 games would be mid-December. There's 3 B2B's during that span so those don't have much influence on the starts, but does pretty much guarantee Knight 3 games.
Without those B2B, between the 24 games between October and mid-December, that would mean the starts would be 15 v 9, which sounds way more on the Bobrovsky side (62.5%/37.5%)

Last season:
Bob played 31 (~53%)
Driedger played 23 (~39%)
Knight played 4 (~7%)
I'm too lazy to look at the spread of when they got there starts, but I feel like Driedger played more in the later half also.
I'd think you see a similar roll out of 60% Bob & 40% Knight.
The mix of Knight's inexperience VS Bob's inconsistencies on top of Florida being a very good, win-now team, makes this one very hard to predict.
I'm sure if you look back at similar post about Bob last year you'll see the same narrative of $$$ dictates starts, but that wasn't the case once things got going.
