I'm dumping major cap hit here on short term, but they're 2 players (Heiskanen/Vrana) I have a hunch will breakout this year.

You are giving up the 2 best players in the deal. If you can afford them I would hold onto them. I think like you said, they are going to progress in the next couple of years. Good luck

I get that you need to dump cap, but this is just a very poor return for your guys. Sometimes you have no choice, but all I can recommend is that you roll up your sleeves and shop these guys as hard as you can and see if you can't improve on what is IMO a pretty poor offer currently on the table.

I know it’s not always possible but if u need to dump cash try to cut loose some pricy vets even if you need to just drop them.
Keep young studs… u won’t be finding cheap D anymore

Same thinking as everyone, not a good deal for me player wise. But I've tried shopping them around and this is the best offer.
Hintz and Vrana should be a wash considering cap.But I have a feeling Vrana has a fair bit more to show.
Graves surprisingly with the blocked shots is a good own (~1 fp/gp). But Heiskanen could blow up offensively or stay steady at 40-50 points and be overpriced fantasy wise.
Thing is I already have Q Hughes, Chychrun, Hronek, Werenski and I would add Graves. And I can't fit them all under the cap. Nobody wants Gaudreau, so I'm a bit handcuffed. I'll see what else I can do but if you guys had any other ideas or strategies I'd gladly hear them
