Which side do you prefer long term in a salary cap keeper league?

Anthony Cirelli, Rudolfs Balcers, Nick Robertson, 1st 2023

    Johnny Gaudreau, Matt Grzelyck

20 teams, G, A, PPP, SHP, Blks, Hits, Takeaways, SHTOI

    Thanks in advance!

I think Gaudreau is the BPA but only by a tier. And Grz is an ok, but not elite level D.

Give me Tampa’s C2 plus Rookie phenom Robertson (not to mention Balcers and a 2023 1st.

Cirelli, Balcers, Nick Robertson and the 1st 2023. Wins this for me

Cirelli is a great 2 way guy who should be 2C on Tampa, also plays on the PK which is one of your cats. Didn't have a great season but will improve.
Balcers did well after being put on waivers... seems like more teams shoulda tried to get him. With the sharks having almost no top 6 wingers he's bound to get time there... maybe could stick long term we'll see....
Robertson is a great prospect not super high end but still should be the future of the Leafs LW's if they can keep him around.
1st should be in a deep draft.

Grzelyck only has value while he's on pp1 if he loses it he's irrelevant imo
Gaudreau is the biggest piece here and could bounce back for a 80+ pt season again but that won't be under sutter in Calgary i can tell you that for free. Other side has enough pieces for him to give him up

The side with Cirelli and the prospects. You double count shorthanded stuff in points and TOI, and Cirelli will help a lot with that. Gaudreau is good in points-only, but not so much here.

Agree with the rest, this is a nice return for Johnny Hockey and Matt Grzelyck if your looking long term.
