    1. Nurse
    2. Sam Girard
    3. McAvoy

Nurse is a monster in multi-cat leagues and i've seen him being drafted as a one of the top 5 D men this year. I'm not his biggest fan but he's your best option here unless you're in a cap league

I would trade McAvoy if you really want Drysdale, McAvoy has never been that great in Fantasy imo. He's a young D but he really doesn't put up too many point 5 on 5 and doesn't see power play 1 time in boston which is key. McAvoy put up 8 ppp this year which is the most he's managed in his career and he still wasn't a top D man to own imo a part from when he was playing on that 1st power play. The other defenders list all have more offensive ability to score points even if its on power play 2.

    Nurse

    Girard

In a heartbeat I would deal Girard or Mac to get Drysdale. Good luck.

I actually have Drysdale and I was wondering if it was worth it to trade him to get Nurse per exemple

Nope, I'm keeping Drysdale (because he is protected and has more upside). None of these guys are top 100 players in a point league. Drysdale is your replacement for Burns. Give it another season.

    Ranking:
    McAvoy
    Girard
    Nurse

In points-only, all 3 of those D are decent options but nothing worth keeping. McAvoy would be first because he's the clear top dog with top PP time on his own team but he probably puts up 50 points and maybe 55-60 in a career year. Nurse would be next simply due to the McDavid factor. But with no PP1 time, he's probably a 45-50 points D-man with upside for 60 if Barrie gets hurt. I love Girard but his situation keeps his ceiling low unless injuries hit.

I'd keep Drysdale over those three for now to wait and see what he becomes. Anaheim isn't a hotbed for offense but they have some intriguing pieces coming up.

Points only, maybe McAvoy, maybe Nurse, but probably neither.

I don't think Drysdale's value will drop enough that sort of deal won't be there later this year, and you'll know more.

For clarity: if multi-cat with grit cats, Nurse would be the move.

IÂ’d trade Drysdale for McAvoy, I believe he will put up a decent amount of points this year and going forward

Agree with this. Wouldn't trade Drysdale in points only format for any of the D men listed here

I am not trading Drysdale for any of these guys in a points only with one exception. This is strategy that will not pay off until next year and beyond. If this is about winning this year, then McAvoy is the guy that should help you the most. Both Girard and Nurse are PP2 guys and unless something unforeseen happens, The Bruins PP1 guy will solidly be the best choice. With a year under his belt and an improving Ducks squad the following year will see Drysdale pushing hard to be a better option than McAvoy. Beyond that, the gap widens. Depends on what you need and when you need it.
