What do you think of my beer league hockey team's new logo and our new jerseys for the upcoming season?

The tail/net thing is a great touch.

Beer and beavers. Nothing better than that. Nice!

Little too much going on for me. But I get that's appealing to a lot of beer league teams.

I love the beaver and the hockey stick and the log... but I am not loving the tail. Would have loved it more if the beaver was a bit bigger without the tail.

And I think you should all replace the white lace with orange laces.

    Overall I like it though!

    A+ from me...
My only criticism, I think the "Beavers HC" word-art (w/log) isn't needed.
[The graphic of the log doesn't fit the graphic style of the beaver head. Mismatch.]
Nice work to your team's designer!!! I'd love to wear those!

I like the beaver head chewing through the stick as a logo but the rest seems a bit loud

Thank you all for your comments.

Here are a few explanations to things you have said.

There were 2 teams named Beavers in our division during the last season we played and there were about 6 Beaver teams in our league. I (and a few others) tried to convince our team "president" to change our team name but he would not go for it. That is why we added the log with the Beavers HC nameplate on it. Pengwin is correct in saying that the log does not really match the rest of the beaver.

The jerseys were intentionally busy as it's a beer league and are last two sets of jerseys were very boring. We wanted something that would let us stand out from the rest of the teams. If you can't beat them on the ice, at least look better than them!!!

We went back and forth on orange vs white laces. I think I too would have preferred an orange lace but our team "president" wanted to go with white and so that's what we did. (he actually did not want to have any orange at all but I did not let that happen)

The jerseys and logo were both built off my initial design (crudely drawn pictures I made with a marker!) with the help of the design team of Verbero Hockey. About 50 emails back and forth with various options being tried and small changes being continuously made before we came up with the final design. It was a fun process from start to finish.

Now, I'm just hoping that we actually have a season as that's looking doubtful since I'm in Alberta and are Covid numbers are growing by 15% per day and our provincial government has declared that Covid is over.
