Hi guys, let me know what you think of my trades

i was in rebuilding mode for 4 years and now decided to go all in and made 3 big deals this weekend while drafting. Basic hockey pool with no position and salary, just best 12 forwards, 6 Dman and 3 goalies count with most pts ONLY at the end of the year. I'll go with the 3 trades, then with final lineup and back-up payers

First with the 3 trades :

I gave Zegras, Seider, berggren and 9th (he took Lysell)
I got panarin and Kucherov

I gave Tolvanen, Perfetti and 18th (he took Bourgault)
I got Kuemper and Ehlers

I gave Cozens, Heinola, 27th, 36th

just goes to show how some perceive younger to be better, and the past few years of drafts have kind of spoiled the pot as far as expectations of draftees is concerned.

you played them well...that first trade is an absolute fleecing!

Team looks very good, and that first deal is great for you.

The second & third deals should be good this year, but I think they could be a wash on value as soon as the year after. You clearly needed the goaltending, though, so likely helps both sides.

The first trade is veto-worthy. And I usually only support veto in the instance of collusion.

The first trade would have been a robbery with only Panarin or Kucherov.

A lot of fantasy GMs are crazy about young players. For them, a 28 years old player is too old. And those package… Quantity never equal quality.

Great for you because you still have a ton of assets on the bench. I could see these being even trades in cap leagues, but without the cap, these other gms are just looking for the shiny new toy obviously

That first trade is absolute robbery for you. Your team looks very solid after those deals, you should definitely be in a position to win.

To give you an idea, I asked my leagues Kucherov owner what he wanted for him last year when he was injured, and the response was 2 solid established keepers plus at least 2 first round picks.

I think I'd definitely see how much cheaper Crosby & especially Letang are. I like Letang to outproduce Smith. Which do you prefer: Penguins PP1 versus Devils PP2?
