Why has no one picked John Scott.

I was saving Jaromir Jagr for my 24th round. He’ll probably score more goals this year than John Scott, even if they’re in Czechoslovakia….

tho he was never all-star mvp.

I'm all about that all-star mvp upside.

In the league in my sig, we have rights to players who go overseas, until they retire. Somebody still has Jagr's rights, I think.

That's why Datsyuk is in my sig, and it's up to date.

So maybe three years ago, while at work, I was watching the box score update on yahoo for a Red Wings vs Toronto game, and Detroit scored the first goal. It popped up as a goal from Datsyuk lol.

So I joke with the office now that only the Leafs can get scored on by a retired player.

Yeah, so even The Great One…. Long after he retired, Gretzky became the all-time NHL leader in points per game, when Lemieux failed to register one ppg in the last season of his career. [corrected]

And you wonder why I’m looking forward to retirement? :-)

Last pick. (Probably) last comment. I’ll see how it unfolded in April.

This was fun, again. 264 picks and still some guys left who surprise me by being available.

Post again when it’s over and tell us who you are surprised is still available. That’s part of the exercise…see how we value players.

Not taken #1: Anton Khudobin. Seriously, Laurent Brossoit chosen over Dallas’ 1A.
Not taken #2: Mikael Backlund. Far better player than #264.
Honorable mention: Chandler Stephenson, Jacob Slavin, Alex Iafallo
Next level (close but no): Barclay Goodrow, Charlie Coyle, Ty Smith

    You asked….

    Other opinions??

I missed Khudobin, so that's fully on me.

Some of those guys were on my radar, but I went in other directions.
